Wonderland
Wonderland is a new spin on Alice Through The Looking Glass that reminds us “ordinary magic happens every single day.”
Just moments away from a promotion, Alice has been estranged from her husband and alienated from her daughter. When a dream transports her to Wonderland, she encounters strange yet familiar characters including a Cheshire Cat with a fabulous flair, a delightfully dotty Queen of Hearts, and a malicious Mad Hatter. Through her journey, Alice finds a new sense of balance and strength within herself as she reconnects with her inner child and learns to believe in herself again.
Audition/Rehearsal Information
Casting will be on July 9th at the Cable Congregational Church on Hwy M in Cable, beginning at 9 a.m. Sign up with this link. Everyone who auditions will be in the show.
Rehearsals for the first two weeks will be at Lakewoods Resort on Hwy M, East of Cable. Everyone will be called Monday through Friday 9 am until 12.30. Some cast members will continue rehearsing until 2.00 each day of Week 1 and 3.00 each day of Week 2; a detailed weekly schedule will be sent out every week.
The third week of rehearsals will be held at Hayward High School, starting Monday July 27. Everyone will be called for all rehearsals. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday rehearsals will run from morning until early afternoon. Tuesday and Thursday we rehearse from 10.00am to 7:30pm with a dinner break at 2. Food on these days is provided by CCT.
Performances take place at Hayward High School – Friday July 31 and Saturday August 1 at 7:00pm and Sunday August 2nd at 2:00p
